By: E&P Staff An all-star lineup of cartoonists will sign books May 26 at a Barnes & Noble in Phoenix, Ariz.
The 7:30 p.m. event -- at 21001 North Tatum Blvd. -- takes place the evening before the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben Weekend begins in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Comic creators scheduled to attend the book-signing include Bill Amend ("FoxTrot"/Universal Press Syndicate), Pat Brady ("Rose is Rose"/United Media), Dave Coverly ("Speed Bump"/Creators Syndicate), Brian Crane ("Pickles"/Washington Post Writers Group), Jan Eliot ("Stone Soup"/Universal), Greg Evans ("Luann"/United), Bil and Jeff Keane ("The Family Circus"/King Features Syndicate), Rick Kirkman ("Baby Blues"/King), Vic Lee ("Pardon My Planet"/King), Patrick McDonnell ("Mutts"/King), Dan Piraro ("Bizarro"/King), Jerry Scott ("Baby Blues" and "Zits"/King), and Brian Walker ("Hi & Lois" and "Beetle Bailey"/King). Also slated to appear is cartoonist Gahan Wilson, who'll receive the Milton Caniff Lifetime Achievement Award from the NCS on May 28.
