Media Correction: Ray Price is Not Dead

On Sunday, Peter Cooper corrected an earlier story in The Tennessean reporting that Ray Price, a country music star, had died.

Price’s son, Cliff Price had written of his passing on Facebook, but was not at Price’s bedside when he posted. Price’s wife, Janie Price, is at his side and confirms that he is alive.

Other news outlets also reported on Price’s death, and Rolling Stone’s Patrick Doyle wrote about speaking with Price’s wife, Janie Price.
