By: E&P Staff Miles 33 has signed an OEM partnership with business intelligence software developer iQ4bis to market its software suite to newspaper publishers. Sacramento-based Miles 33 will sell the software under the mxIQ brand.
The mxIQ brand consists of four products, mxIQ DataServer, mxIQ Analysis and mxIQ Report Publisher, which give publishers a "seamless end-to-end" solution that integrates with existing data sources to manage business operations, according to Miles 33.
Publishers must know the source of their revenue and the current and historical trends that affect it, "and then determine where to successfully focus their sales efforts," said Albert de Bruijn, Miles 33 vice president of sales and marketing.
The mxIQ suite provides clients using System/77, AdVision, mxAdvertising and FutureProof with access to advertising revenues, accounts receivables and circulation data, and with data warehousing and detailed reports that can give them "a historic perspective of sales information as well as easily identify industry trends and analyze sales performance," according to the company.
