By: The Newspaper Association of America named Jeanne Fox-Alston vice president of diversity effective Aug. 4.
Fox-Alston is currently executive director of the National Association of Minority Media Executives, which represents leaders in newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, and new media.
She previously worked at
The Washington Post, most recently a director of recruiting and hiring.
Toni F. Laws retired as senior vice president for diversity in February. NAA started its diversity promotion programs in 1992.
