Nela Names Two Sales Chiefs

By: E&P Staff Nela-USA, Oakdale, Minn., promoted Jurgen Gruber to sales director. Gruber has been with the company for seven years, most recently as newspaper sales product manager.

The Nela Co. Group, headquartered in Lahr, Germany, also announced that it established an Asia affiliate in Taipei, Taiwan.

Nela Asia will start as a sales and service organization under Steven Huang, Agfa's former chief service engineer in Taiwan for 10 years. He reports to Guido Eckenwalder, Nela's Asia-Pacific sales manager.

Nela equipment already is used by large newspaper printers in China, among them, Peoples Daily, Economic Daily, Army Daily in Beijing, Hubei Daily in Wuhan, Jiefang Daily in Shanghai, and Wen Wei Po in Hong Kong.
