By: E&P Staff Tom Davidson has been named director/general manager of Sun-Sentinel.com in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Davidson most recently served as vice president of business development and general manager of interactive at the Daily Press in Hampton Roads, Va.

Before joining the Daily Press in 2000, Davidson held various editorial positions with the South Florida Sun-Sentinel from 1988 to 1999, including serving as Broward metro editor from 1995-1998. From 1998 to 1999, he earned a Knight Fellowship at Stanford University, where he studied the Internet and its relationship with newspapers.
