By: E&P Staff An environmentally oriented comic called "The Green House" will launch on Earth Day this Sunday.
The self-syndicated strip, by Brad Gilchrist and Peter Menice, will start online and then come to newspapers this summer. Readers can receive it via e-mail three days a week for free, or via e-mail seven days a week for $12 a year.
Characters include Todd and Pam Green (a young couple learning how to live more ecologically), a superhero named Wormy, a meditating praying mantis, and a left-leaning, blogging rat named Link.
There will also be a feature aimed at kids called "EarthWorm."
