Jeremy Halbreich's Dallas-based American Consolidated Media has bought Robertson County Newspapers, parent of three Texas weeklies -- the Hearne Democrat, Franklin Advocate, and Calvert Tribune -- plus the free-distribution Robertson County Booster.

The sellers, Chap Harriman and family, were represented by the Rickenbacher Media Co. of Dallas. -- Mark Fitzgerald

Western Communications Buys Nickel Ads

Western Communications, parent of The Bulletin in Bend, Ore., bought Central Oregon Nickel Ads from Valley Publishing Co. in Prosser, Wash.

Fournier Media Services Inc. represented Valley in the sale. Terms were not disclosed. -- Lucia Moses

Holden Landmark Buys Monthly

Holden Landmark Corp., owner of the Worcester County, Mass., weekly Landmark, bought Today's Parent of Central Massachusetts, a monthly magazine, from Kelley Small. -- Lucia Moses
