NYTS Has 'Turning Points 2007' Package

By: E&P Staff The New York Times Syndicate (NYTS) is offering a package called "Turning Points 2007."

It includes stories about the efforts of some countries to limit immigration, about how the world is becoming increasingly urban, about the recalls of many Chinese-made products, and about the medical and ethical implications of trying to change one's personal genetics.

The package also contains a section that lists "First Time Ever" events -- such as the discovery of a planet outside our solar system that might harbor life, and the awarding of equal prize money to male and female tennis players at Wimbledon.

And there are cartoons (from artists represented by the NYTS-marketed CartoonArts International syndicate) that look at 2007 on a month-by-month basis.
