By: E&P Staff Parade named Janice Kaplan editor today. She has served as the magazine's executive editor since May 2006.
Kaplan succeeds Lee Kravitz who
stepped down in October.
Before coming to Parade, Kaplan was deputy editor of TV Guide magazine and executive producer of TV Guide Television Group. She also served as a producer on Good Morning America.
"Janice is one of America's most talented editors," Randy Siegel, president of Parade, said in a statement. "Her world class skill and experience will add markedly to Parade's future."
Kaplan is the author and co-author of ten books, including the bestselling novels "The Botox Diaries," "Mine Are Spectacular!" "The Men I Didn't Marry," and her latest novel, "Looks to Die For." Kaplan was also a columnist at Seventeen magazine and a contributing editor at Vogue.
