By: Nekoro Gomes Paul Smith has been named executive editor of the Loudoun Times-Mirror weekly newspaper of Leesburg, Va. He replaces Robert Twigg as executive editor of the Times-Mirror.
Smith, a 36-year newspaper veteran, Smith previously served as an editor of the Fauquier County (Va.) Citizen weekly. He began his career at The Lima (Ohio) News as a sports reporter and editor before joining the Citizen, where he specialized in business coverage.
In his new role as editor of the Times-Mirror, Smith will focus on community-based coverage. The Times-Mirror as well as the Citizen are part of the Times Community newspaper group owned by Arcom Publishing Inc.
