RENO, Nev. — PBS Reno has promoted Helen Krohn to the role of Content & Marketing project manager. As Content & Marketing project manager, Krohn oversees the scheduling, resources, staffing and follow-up of all projects involving the Content & Marketing departments.

Krohn is highly organized and a proven effective communicator who brings extensive experience in project management that translates into high-quality planning, scheduling, implementation and evaluation of the PBS Reno Content & Marketing departments’ projects.

“Being part of PBS Reno has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, and this recognition reflects the support, collaboration and dedication I share with the incredible people I have the privilege of working alongside every day at PBS Reno,” said Krohn. “As Content & Marketing project manager, I look forward to building this momentum and advancing the creative projects that drive our mission forward.”

Krohn joined PBS Reno in 2023 as a content resource coordinator, maintaining the PBS Reno Content schedule and confirming necessary equipment, vehicles, licenses/permits and staff resources for local productions. In her new role, Krohn will continue supporting a positive and engaging work environment as she serves as a liaison between other PBS Reno departments.

“Helen has been a key contributor to the Content team and she is an invaluable member of PBS Reno,” said Megan Myers, PBS Reno chief content officer. “She brings an energy and enthusiasm to PBS Reno that inspires those around her every day. She is the organizational backbone of so many of our initiatives, ensuring projects move forward efficiently while keeping teams aligned and focused. Just as importantly, Helen represents PBS Reno with professionalism, warmth and integrity in every interaction with our community, partners and supporters. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence are key reasons the Content & Marketing teams are able to operate at such a high level.”
