More changes at Pentawave Inc. in Scottsdale, Ariz. The company
said Wednesday that it will sell its employment software and
related assets to a new company headed by former Pentawave
Chairman Bruce Culver. Culver said the new company, IdealHire
Inc., would retain all Pentawave employees who worked on the
employment product.

The struggling Pentawave will retain ownership of its cross-media
technology software, which is licensed to IdealHire and
AutoChooser.

Just one month ago, Pentawave sold its AutoChooser technology to
Gannett Media Technologies International (GMTI) of Cincinnati.

Pentawave also owns a real estate solution that hasn't been
brought to market yet. Culver said Pentawave will retain a
handful of employees.

IdealHire is now rolling out a new version of its software, which
helps employers and job seekers connect via newspaper Web sites.
Culver said the product is designed to help speed the hiring
process and cut through extraneous resumes.
