Philadelphia Newspaper Driver Shot

By: Joe Strupp A Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News delivery driver was shot in the neck Monday morning during a robbery, the Inquirer reported.

The unidentified man was making a delivery along Buist Avenue at about 4 a.m. when the incident occurred, the paper said. The man, in his mid-30s, survived and was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was treated and released, the Inquirer reported.

Police told the paper they were unable to confirm a television report that the incident included two attackers, who took the man's wallet, which contained only $15.
