By: (AP) A power failure at a suburban New Jersey facility took down the Wall Street Journal's online edition for a little over half an hour Thursday morning, the company said.
Dow Jones Newswires were also affected by what spokeswoman Nicole Pyhel of parent Dow Jones & Co. called a "very brief power interruption."
Asked if the Journal's Web operation used edge servers, Web servers at other locations that mirror a site, Pyhel said, "We feel like it's not really relevant, since the outage was caused by a lack of electricity."
