PowerOne Media Forms Alliance With P2i

By: E&P Staff Online newspaper vendors PowerOne Media and P2i have formed an alliance that puts PowerOne in charge of marketing and sales support for P2i newspaper customers. The deal will allow P2i to expand its efforts to non-newspaper clients, the companies said. Terms were not disclosed.

Bethlehem, Pa.-based P2i offers print-to-Web conversion services, including print newspaper display ads for Web sites. Troy, N.Y.-based PowerOne provides a variety of Web hosting and online advertising solutions to newspapers.

P2i will continue to provide content conversion. P2i's former vice president of sales, Jenese Tesar, have joined PowerOne's sales team.
