'PreTeena' Paperback Published

By: E&P Staff A print-on-demand book called "PreTeena: The Paperback!" is being released by Universal Press Syndicate and Lulu.com.

Universal is co-marketing cartoonist Allison Barrows' book on AllyKatzz.com, the blog site for girls ages 9 through 15. Two months ago, Barrows became a celebrity blogger on the site, showcasing her comic to that online audience.

The new book -- like the "PreTeena" strip -- focuses on 11-year-old Teena Keene as she deals with her parents, her sister, her best friend, boys, and more.
