Prime UV's David Samide Dies at 32

By: E&P Staff David Andrew Samide, marketing manager at Prime UV Systems, died at his home in Wheaton, Ill., on March 21. He was 32.

During the seven years he battled brain cancer, Samide continued his work and friendships with industry and media people and coworkers.

Samide joined Prime UV Systems, Carol Stream, Ill., in December 2000 as marketing assistant after graduating from North Central College in Illinois. Soon after, his work with the media, at trade shows and with Prime UV customers earned him promotion to manager.

Samide is survived by his parents, sister, brother, nephew and two nieces. Private services were held on Wednesday, March 24.
