By: Thomas Heslin has been named vice president and executive editor at The Providence Journal.
The Providence Journal, which is owned by Dallas-based media company A.H. Belo Corp., reported Sunday that the 58-year-old Heslin succeeds Joel Rawson who retired on April 29.
