By: E&P Staff Pacifica Radio Archives is producing a radio special Nov. 28 and 29 to help preserve its collection of recordings that date back to 1949.

Among those involved in the two-day broadcast will be Amy Goodman, who writes a King Features Syndicate column in addition to her radio work.

Premiering on the two-day broadcast will be "The Ballad of Pete Seeger" documentary about the singer/activist.

The Nov. 28-29 marathon will air on all five Pacifica stations (KPFA in Berkeley, KPFK in Los Angeles, KPFT in Houston, WBAI in New York City, and WPFW in Washington, D.C.) -- with special editions of Goodman's "Democracy Now!" show airing on more than 500 TV and radio stations.
