former president and business manager of the former Washington Daily News, died of complications from diabetes on April 2.
In 1972, after the paper was sold by Scripps-Howard Newspapers, he became assistant to the general business manager of the company. In 1975, he was promoted to assistant business manager, where he remained until his retirement in 1979.
