(Adweek IQ) SkyGo, a
Redwood City, Calif.-based wireless marketing company, launched its "Mobile
Advertising Platform" (SkyGo MAP) on Wednesday, enabling carriers, advertisers
and publishers to track ad campaigns on wireless devices.
"Wireless advertising is poised to take its place within today's comprehensive
marketing mix," said Daren Tsui, co-founder and CEO of SkyGo, in a news release.
"With this platform, companies are integrating wireless into their advertising
strategy and serving ads that provide consumers with valuable information, forge
lasting relationships and tap into lucrative new revenue streams."
More than 50 national brands and ad agencies currently look to SkyGo for
wireless advertising solutions, including Visa, Procter & Gamble, General
Motors, Avenue A and Modem Media.
