Startribune.com, the Web site of the Star Tribune in
Minneapolis, said it recorded 26 million page views in October, a
33% increase since July.

The site attributes the traffic increase to continual news
updates, enhanced coverage of the Minnesota Vikings football
team, and a redesigned shopping channel, which features over 800
retailers. A new feature in the shopping section is Word of
Mouth, a directory that allows users to rate local retailers.
