STNG Starts New Auto Section

By: E&P Staff The Sun-Times News Group (STNG) launched a new section, SearchChicago-Autos, to run Thursdays in the group's 58 paid newspapers to complement the Web site.

It will replace the existing auto section and will feature local columnists Jill Ciminillo, Ira Siegel, John Stein, and Jeff Taylor.

"Our new print SearchChicago-Autos will provide the most comprehensive auto coverage in the region and link to our Web site with more new and used car and truck listings than any other service," Cyrus F. Freidheim Jr., CEO of Sun-Times Media Group, said in a statement.

The launch coincides with the opening of the Chicago Auto Show. STNG also kicked off a sweepstakes that offers attendees of the show the chance to win $50,000.
