Syndicate Stars Write Their Own Epitaphs

Posted
By: Dave Astor Several syndicated cartoonists and columnists are included in "Remember Me When I'm Gone: The Rich and Famous Write Their Own Epitaphs and Obituaries," a new Doubleday book by TV host Larry King.

Among the contributors are "Garfield" creator Jim Davis, "In the Bleachers" creator Steve Moore, "Big Top" creator Rob Harrell, and "The Big Picture" creator Lennie Peterson of Universal Press Syndicate; "The Family Circus" creator Bil Keane of King Features Syndicate; and columnists Dave Barry and Liz Smith of Tribune Media Services.

Davis' line? "I would like to be remembered as someone who was extremely old."
