By: (AP) Theodore A. "Ted" Serrill, a former newspaper publisher and top executive with the National Newspaper Association, has died in Dunedin, Fla. He was 93.
Serrill retired as executive vice president of the National Newspaper Association in Washington, D.C. Before that, he served as executive director of the Pennsylvania Newspaper Publishers Association for 13 years and worked at the Federal Reserve in Philadelphia.
Serrill, who was born in Philadelphia and earned a journalism degree from Penn State University in 1932, also worked for the Easton Express.
He moved to Florida in the early 1980s and became publisher of the weekly Pinellas County Review.
Memorial services were scheduled for Saturday in Seminole, Fla.
