Three Cartoonists from Three Countries Added to Cagle Site

By: E&P Staff Cagle.MSNBC.com site has added three editorial cartoonists.

"Actually, they are three old cartoonists who are coming back after some time away," said Daryl Cagle, who runs the huge site.

One of the trio is The Des Moines Register's Brian Duffy, who has the rare distinction of having his color cartoons appear on the front page of his newspaper.

There's also South African cartoonist Jonathan Shapiro, who uses the pen name "Zapiro." Last year, he won the Cartoonists Rights Network International's "Courage in Editorial Cartooning Award" for drawing in the face of threats to his safety.

And there's Sepideh Amjarooz, a rare woman editorial cartoonist from Iran.
