United Signs Self-Syndicated Comic

By: Dave Astor Mark Parisi's "off the mark" is moving to United Feature Syndicate effective Sept. 2.

The 15-year-old comic panel appears in about 120 newspapers, a high total for self-syndication. Parisi told E&P Online that he's happy to be joining United -- and happy that he and his wife/business partner Lynn Reznick will now have less work to do when it comes to sales and distribution.

Parisi also has a new book collection, off the mark Computer Cartoons Rebooted, just published by Plan Nine.
