In a reflection of its expanding activities, the Paris-based World Association of Newspapers (WAN) redesigned its Web site (http://www.wan-press.org) and relaunched it last month.

"As the global organization for newspapers, WAN is active in all aspects of the industry," said Director General Timothy Balding.

The revamped site - which supplies much of its information in English, French, German, Spanish, and Russian - is divided into sections including press freedom; conferences, training, and events; young reader programs; industry suppliers; research and policy; and the World Editors Forum for senior news executives.
