Michael Lindsey of Cheyenne, Wyo.-based Media Consultants Inc. represented the seller in the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.

The Anchorage Press is a 20,000 free-distribution alternative weekly.

Sierra Vista, Ariz.-based Wick publishes 32 papers, including an alternative in Tucson, Ariz. In Alaska, it publishes The Frontiersman, a thrice-weekly newspaper.

Wick will print the Anchorage Press on a new press it installed for The Frontiersman.
