Will Ann Coulter Ever Join the Dixie Chicks?

By: E&P Staff Given the way Ann Coulter has been thrashed by many editorial cartoonists, one would not expect the conservative columnist to be linking to drawings on her site. But AnnCoulter.com is now offering such a link.

The cartoon, by Chip Bok of the Akron (Ohio) Beacon Journal and Creators Syndicate, shows a woman and man watching TV. The man says: "The Republicans are on a roll. Now they've introduced a resolution that says we stay in Iraq until Ann Coulter joins the Dixie Chicks."

The Dixie Chicks, of course, are the group that got pilloried by conservatives after lead singer Natalie Maines said she was ashamed to be from the same state as President Bush -- who Coulter almost always supports in her Universal Press Syndicate column.
