WoodWing Introduces Adobe, Sybase Compatibility

By: E&P Staff WoodWing Software, Zandaam, The Netherlands, and Detroit, introduced enhanced versions of its two Smart Connection editorial solutions that are fully compatible with Adobe InDesign and InCopy CS2.

According to WoodWing USA Projects Vice President Jeff Gapp, major enhancements in version 4.0 of Smart Connection Pro and Smart Connection Enterprise are client-side support for InCopy CS2 and InDesign CS2 and server-side support in Smart Connection Enterprise for PHP5 and Sybase, as well as dedicated database drivers.

The number of Smart Connection users worldwide has grown to almost 10,000, according to WoodWing USA CEO Brian Kruger.
