By: Staff Reports Downsizing Part Of Company-Wide Restructuring
The Wall Street Journal's Web site will lay off some
employees as part of a company-wide restructuring at Dow Jones &
Co., according to a report from CBS.MarketWatch.com.
A Dow Jones spokesman told MarketWatch that the layoffs would "be
limited and targeted." WSJ.com employs 300.
More details are expected April 12, when Dow Jones announces its
first quarter earnings.
WSJ.com has been held up as one of online journalism's success
stories. The site has about 500,000 paid subscribers.
