Zagorski Named CMO at MediaSpan

By: E&P Staff Mark Zagorski has been named chief marketing officer for MediaSpan Group, a media technology company that bridges offline and online business functions for 4,500 media customers. For print publishers, MediaSpan provides back-office, pre-press infrastructure tools combined with new media technologies for online revenue opportunities.

In his new position, Zagorski will be responsible for all the strategic marketing programs for the company's Harris & Baseview and First Media Works divisions. He will also oversee corporate marketing strategy, promotional and sales activity for future MediaSpan acquisitions.

"In addition to helping promote and market our individual brands, Mark will help the marketplace better understand the overall mission and direction of MediaSpan,? F.R. Campagnoni, the CEO of MediaSpan, said in a statement. ?Moreover, Mark?s strong background working with online advertisers and leading media companies makes him a key part of our strategy to grow MediaSpan's network development efforts."

Previously, Zagorski was president of WorldNow, a technology and ad network for local television Web sites. He also worked as Group Account Director at Modem Media where he worked with clients such as IBM and MCI.
