By: E&P Staff Real estate Web site Zillow.com and Seattlepi.com announced the launch of a co-branded Web site Tuesday.

"This partnership with Zillow significantly beefs up our online content and
builds out our community news and information portal by giving readers access to rich real estate content and information on Seattle homes, neighborhoods and value trends via Zillow's cutting-edge technology," Karl Johnson, sales manager for Seattlepi.com, said in a statement.

Among the features of the site are Zillow's search function, which allows users to enter any home address, neighborhood or locality and find
estimated home values, recently sold homes, homes for sale, open house listings and local market data. The new site also boasts "real estate community content via Zillow(R) Advice, and mortgage rates and information from Zillow Mortgage Marketplace."

The new co-branded Web site is one of many powered by Zillow for members of the Zillow Newspaper Consortium, which includes papers like the Tampa Tribune and Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch.

According to Zillow, the Consortium is made up of 11 major publishing companies, including Hearst Newspapers, the parent company of Seattlepi.com; Media General, Inc.; The E.W. Scripps Company; MediaNews Group; Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc; Morris Communications Company; and Philadelphia Media Holdings. In all, 180 papers plan to launch co-branded Web sites with Zillow.
