By: E&P Staff The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) says more than 60 U.S. small-circulation papers have signed up for its Community Newspaper Audit (CNA) service, a cheaper and simplified audit process designed for papers with paid circ of less than 25,000.
The service for U.S. and Canadian papers officially launches Jan. 1.
CNA charges a flat annual rate beginning at $2,000, with payments that can be made monthly, quarterly or semiannually. Papers have two packages of services to choose from, and can add options such as Web site and readership audits and coupon-distribution verification.
