AP Images to Distribute Historic Photos From 'Ebony' and 'Jet'

By: E&P Staff Johnson Publishing Company has chosen the AP Images division of the Associated Press to distribute content from Ebony and Jet magazines' photo archive.

The archive is considered one of the most significant collections of photos depicting the lives of blacks in America and around the world.

Ebony was first published in 1945, and Jet in 1951.
