'Bennington (Vt.) Banner' Names Managing Editor

By: E&P Staff Noah Hoffenberg has been named managing editor of the Bennington (Vt.) Banner. Hoffenberg most recently served as editor of the North Adams (Mass.) Transcript. He replaces Sabina Haskell.

Hoffenberg, 33, came to the Banner in 2001 as a reporter and worked his way up to assistant managing editor. He then wrote for The Berkshire Eagle in Pittsfield, Mass., before becoming the Transcript's editor last June.
