BlueLine Buys Wisconsin Shopper

By: E&P Staff BlueLine Media Holdings has acquired the Shawano (Wis.) Shopper from the estate of the late David Early Jr.

Terms of the deal, brokered by Dirks, Van Essen & Murray, were not disclosed.

The Shawano Shopper has a total distribution of 22,000 copies and has served the area for 50 years.

BlueLine Media, based in Neenah, Wis., owns The Shawano Leader, a 6,300 paid daily that publishes six days a week as well as four other newspapers and a commercial printing operation. Paul Seveska, Greg Mellis, and Fulcrum Publishing, a subsidiary of the private equity firm McCarthy Group, own the company.
