Boston Globe Appoints Digital Adviser to the Editor


After 10 years with Global News, David Skok, director of digital news, is leaving to join the Boston Globe as a digital adviser to the editor.

According to Skok’s biography, he co-created the network in 2009. He was a 2012 Nieman Journalism Fellow at Harvard University, the first digital journalist in Canada selected for the program, and the author of Breaking News: Mastering the Art of Disruption in Journalism. Skok began his career at ABC’s Nightline and joined Global News in 2003.
