By: E&P Staff Several cartoonists will be among the people talking about the French presidential election during a panel discussion tomorrow evening at the Alliance Francaise in Washington, D.C.
They include Ted Rall of Universal Press Syndicate, Jeff Danziger and Kevin "KAL" Kallaugher of the Cartoonists & Writers Syndicate/New York Times Syndicate, and Nick Galifianakis, who illustrates Carolyn Hax's "Tell Me About It" advice column for the Washington Post Writers Group.
The four cartoonists are joining Radio France Internationale correspondent Claude Porsella and TF1 correspondent Guillaume Debre.
Conservative Nicolas Sarkozy and the more liberal Segolene Royal finished one-two in the election's first round, and will face each other in the second round on May 6.
