The afternoon event -- in the Borders at 18th and L streets -- takes place during the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists' 50th-anniversary convention (http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/search/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003575230).
Creators at the slide show/signing will include editorial cartoonist Ted Rall of Universal Press Syndicate, "Tom the Dancing Bug" cartoonist Ruben Bolling of Universal, self-syndicated "The K Chronicles"/"(th)ink" cartoonist Keith Knight, and "The Boiling Point" cartoonist Mikhaela Reid of GoComics.com.
Also: Masheka Wood ("Not Just Knee Deep"), Stephanie McMillan ("Minimum Security"), Jen Sorensen ("Slowpoke"), Matt Bors ("Idiot Box"), Brian McFadden ("Big Fat Whale"), August J. Pollak, ("Some Guy With a Website"), and Ben Smith ("Fighting Words").
