There's no column today because I'm taking a vacation day. Stop The Presses! will return on Monday, but beginning next week I will be writing in this space only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays instead of five days a week (which has been my schedule for the last eight months).
The reduced schedule will allow me to spend more time on my primary business, which is consulting to the newspaper industry and related companies in the online/new media field. The column remains extremely important to me and I fully intend to continue writing it.
For the next few weeks, each edition of Stop The Presses! will be posted on the Editor & Publisher Interactive Web site for two days each: Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday and Friday/weekend. At a later date, Editor & Publisher's new media editor will be offering up some of her own coverage in this space on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Watch for announcements here in the coming weeks.
