By: E&P Staff For every copy of the Chicago Sun-Times sold in stores or on the street Thursday, the newspaper is donating five cents to Special Olympics Illinois.

The Sun-Times said it has pledged a minimum of $7,250 to the organization, but hopes to raise more than $10,000 from the single-copy sales. The tabloid has a cover price of 75 cents.

"The Chicago Sun-Times is delighted to once again partner with Special Olympics and to support the achievements of local atheletes right here in our city and our state," said Willie Wilkov, vice president of marketing for the Sun-Times News Group.
