The Hagadone Corporation announced that Clint Schroeder had been named president of the Hagadone Newspaper and Media Groups, overseeing each of the companies that comprise the corporation’s media holdings in Idaho, Montana, Washington and Hawaii. Schroeder has previously served as president and COO of Hagadone Hawaii holdings and, most recently, as Inland northwest regional publisher for the Hagadone Corporation.
In a memo sent to the company’s executive leadership team, Chairman and CEO Brad Hagadone said, “Clint is well-prepared to maintain a steady hand and lead our media operations into a dynamic new era of serving our communities with print and digital products and services.” Hagadone said, “[Schroeder’s] proven leadership, communication style, and enthusiasm have benefited our company in numerous ways since joining our team in 2010. We are all very pleased with the exceptional leadership he will continue to provide for our company.”
“I am honored to have the opportunity to work more closely with the entire Hagadone Media team,” said Schroeder. “I take great pride in our company’s unwavering protection of community journalism and its care for the employees that make local media possible. We will maintain our commitment to the First Amendment and the communities we serve.”
Schroeder is a 26-year industry veteran with a BA from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology.
