Davenport Accuses Reporter of Stopping in Traffic

Quad-City Times columnist Barb Ickes testified Wednesday in a Davenport traffic court trial to challenge a ticket she received while photographing a River Drive crash for the Times.

Ickes of Moline testified she slowed down to use her smartphone to take a picture of a Nov. 21 accident scene on East River Drive, but she didn't actually stop until after a Davenport police officer flagged her down.
