David Hackett Promoted at 'Herald-Tribune' in Florida

By: David Hackett been named Venice/ North Port editor for the Herald-Tribune in Sarasota. Hackett most recently was a reporter for the newspaper.

Prior to joining the Herald-Tribune, Hackett, 43, was managing editor of the Bloomington (INd.) Herald-Times for two years. Before that, he served as editor of the Johnson County (Ind.) Daily Journal.
