Dews Management Inc. (DMI) announced that it will acquire The Columbia Paper and Renss Lens from Capital Region Independent Media, effective October 1.

DMI is owned by Warren C. Dews, Jr., who currently serves as vice president and publisher of Capital Region Independent Media. Under DMI ownership, The Columbia Paper and Renss Lens will maintain their individual identities, editorial leadership and commitment to their respective communities while sharing business resources to support operational efficiency.

Collectively, The Columbia Paper and Renss Lens serve markets encompassing approximately 220,000 residents across Columbia and Rensselaer counties.
