Dual M.E.s for Texas Paper

By: E&P Staff Danny Mogle and Richard Looms were appointed Sunday to assistant managing editor positions at the Tyler (Tex.) Morning Telegraph.

Mogle has been with the paper for 20 years, working as assignments editor for the last decade. Loomis was most recently city editor after 34 years with the paper. They will share supervision of the news departments.

In other newsroom changes, Kimberly Allen was named news editor and Gene Strickland the new dayside editor. Strickland will work on special projects and has been charged with improving the paper's obituary pages and other early-deadline content.
