By: E&P Staff The first column by former Bush-administration official Michael Gerson will appear this Wednesday in The Washington Post, according to Washington Post Writers Group (WPWG) Managing Editor James Hill.
WPWG is syndicating Gerson, whose appointment as a Post columnist was reported on last September by E&P.
Gerson -- George W. Bush's head speechwriter and policy advisor from 1999 until 2006 -- joins a lineup of WPWG Op-Ed columnists that includes David Broder, E. J. Dionne, Ellen Goodman, Charles Krauthammer, Ruben Navarrette, Kathleen Parker, Eugene Robinson, and George Will, among others.
